Vata, in particular, is governed by the elements of space and air. It is considered to be cold, dry, changeable and moving. It is not surprising that the constant fluctuations in weather patterns are upsetting, especially for those with a predominance of vata in their nature. Vata is most sensitive to change so it becomes important to work with compassion during this time of transition to avoid unnecessarily increasing the vata within your constitution. Like exacerbates like in Ayurveda, so the more you are consistently influenced by something, then you are more likely you are to experience its negative effects. Vata disorders may demonstrate as digestive issues, anxiety or joint and muscle conditions.
